One hundred years from now,
It won't matter what car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
How much I had in my bank account,
Nor what my clothes looked like,
But, the world may be a little better
Because I was important in the life of a child.
Dr. Kathi Amrhein feels that “One Hundred Years from Now…,” are truly words to live by. Not only has she focused her life’s work on pediatric and adolescent medicine, but she also takes a heartfelt interest in the wellbeing of children within our community. Dr. Amrhein is actively committed to volunteering and philanthropic endeavors for the betterment of various children’s organizations including: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Friends In Service Helping (F.I.S.H.). Further, she sets herself a personal goal of volunteering at least once a month by providing free childcare classes on the importance of immunizations.
Dr. Amrhein has spent over 13 years at Carson Medical Group area providing quality health care with compassion to the children of Northern Nevada. Dr. Kathi Amrhein stays abreast of the newest developments and research in regards to pediatric health and works to alleviate the anxiety children have when seeking treatment. Her calm bedside manner helps put them at ease.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and hobbies are: sewing, gardening, camping and travel. And, let’s not forget volunteering!
Dr. Kathi Amrhein is important in the life of the children of Carson City and our community as a whole!
