Dr. Michael Dickson attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah for his undergraduate degree. Coming from Texas, he quickly fell in love with the activities and mountainous terrain that Utah offered.
He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and returned to Texas to obtain his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine. From there, he completed his pediatric residency training at University of Texas Dell Medical School in Austin.
Upon completing training, he and his wife were drawn to the expansive Sierra Mountain Range as a quality place to raise their children and enjoy their favorite outdoor activities together. Hands down, his favorite thing to do is to spend time with his beautiful family. Together they enjoy, hiking, rock climbing, boating, cycling and camping.
Children have always held a special place in Dr. Dickson’s heart. As a pediatrician, he strives to make long-term connections with patients, enjoys watching them learn and grow, and aims to be a positive influence in their lives. By providing proper tools, Dr. Dickson empowers patients and families to take charge of their own health and live the fullest life possible. Dr. Dickson believes being a father himself makes him a better pediatrician because he understands the need for real-life care plans for real families.
