Raised in a quaint town in South East Idaho, Shelley gained an appreciation for the great outdoors and rural environments. Originally from the Davis, California area, her father took a research scientist position with the University of Idaho. Her summers were spent with her grandparents in Davis, and the rest of her time was spent in the beautiful high-country of South East Idaho.
The majestic outdoor beauty she was surrounded with growing up, helped cement her love for camping and hiking which she now does with her family and dogs. She also enjoys sewing and has dabbled with water color painting. She and her husband opened their home and their hearts to many foster children. They went on to be adoptive parents to a beautiful baby girl, rounding out their family of four children. A resident of the Carson Valley for over 18 years, she feels at home with the mountains, climate, and community. She is also appreciative of the proximity to her family that still resides in California.
Shelley’s warmth and compassion touch her patients at every age level. She is particularly interested in seeing families and children. Her goal is for her patients to be the healthiest they can be, and to give them the tools they need to feel empowered so they never feel overwhelmed with any health issue they may face.
